ZMīs Game Voice (by |ZM|Mike)

This page contains intructions how to log in ZMīs Game Voice Server. THIS IS JUST FOR ZM MEMBERS. On a certain time u will be asked for a password. Only ZM members have it. The pics were taking on a Windows 98se computer with portuguese language. You will not just learn how to instal and connect Game Voice; You will also learn a litle about a European languge :)))

(ip adress and passwords are hiden on the texts and blur on the pics for security reasons. ZM members must get them on team area - forum)

 

 After u download the software just click on this exe file. If u dont have it mail me here and i send it to you.

 You must have DirectX 8. If u dont u will get this error msg. Just go to the url and instal Directx (its free on Microsoft site) and then get back to here.

 Say YES to whatever is there. (Does anyone ever read this things?).

 Choose the location by click SEARCH (procurar) or click OK to instal it on the default location.

 Here it says the location does not existe and it will creat it. Say YES, since theres not a WHATEVER button.

 This will creat a shortcut. Ud better say yes since u will be using it very often, wouldnt u?

 Now Game Voice will found your Sound Card. To hear, all sound card is ok but to hear and talk u must have a FULL DUPLEX sound card. You will see if u have a full duplex sound card a few steps ahead.

 Close all software u are runing and click NEXT (seguinte)

 Now wait a couple minutes. Game Voice is making some tests.

 Here u must talk to the mic. If everthing went ok u should see a bar coming up and down. Finished read those lines or try sing a litle song. Then click Next.

 Its now time to find out if u have a FULL DUPLEX card. U must read loud and clear those lines and if your sound card is Full Duplex BOTH meters will have a bar coming up and down. If just the RECORD bar move, means u have HALF DUPLEX card and u will just be able to hear.Go to the closest computer store, buy a FULL DUPLEX sound card and come back.

 

Its donne?? Ok. U bought the Sound Blaster Live  5.1 right?? I new it, its the Best (having in consideration the price). Click next

 Test its over. Just click FINISHED

 Run the game Voice by clicking the shortcut. Now its time to enter ZMīs Game Voice server. Click JOIN A CHAT.

 Choose Join by Ip adress

 Enter Zmīs Game Voice ip server and click ok. Ip is on team area on our forum. get it here.

 Now it asks for a password. If u are a ZM member enter the password Jim gave us. If u are not a Zm member u can try hacking.

Not a ZM member and not a hacker?? Ok. Just unistal Game Voice and close this page.

 Now u are in. If anyone is on Voice u will see the names on that orange window. If u are the 1st to enter u will see it blank as it is on this pic. When u are in U DO NOT SEE YOUR OWN NAME. Just the others do.

Minimaze the Game Voice and enter game as u usual do. U can enter game by clicking JOIN GAME but i now someone (me) who gets trouble with Game Voice when entered the game by Join Game so i just minimaze and then i click the UT shortcut.

 If u click GAME VOICE SETTINGS u will get this window. The DISPLAY NAME is the name as the other people will see on their orange windows. Try use |ZM|Yourname so everyone knows who are in.

U can uncheck the AUTOMATICALLY LOG ONTO MSN if u dont have it.

You dont need to enter any value on the Voice Compression. Its only for those who host a chat and u are just trying to Join a chat.

Also leave blank the PUSH TO TALK KEY on the bottom.
Pic19.JPG (63679 bytes) On this windows my advice is that u check the RUN GAME VOICE IN HIGH PRIORITY MODE.

Leave the rest as it is. And thats it. Try ajust the mic volume on the System Tray Icon. If u put it too loud people will hear u braething; if u put it too low people wont hear u at all. Its up to you to find out the best volume.
